METALMAQ, in its constant innovation and search for perfection, redesigns a new version of its SUPPORT-P, so that installing the protective film on the bending dies is extremely easy and practical.
REDESIGN OF SUPPORT-P/60, for protective film
The SUPPORT-P/60 began to be commercialized a little over two years ago, but in this new version it has been anodize in dark grey so that its finish is perfect.

SUPPORT-P/60 coupled to a Promecam die type “T”
Its characteristics have remained intact:
– Manufactured in High Strength Aluminum
Apart from the resistance that this type of Aluminum has, the reduction in weight compared to the previous one in iron is important, since the new set of supports only weighs 0,6 Kg!, Which makes it light and practical to install.
– Two mounting positions
The supports can be mounted on the side of the die or on top of the die, leaving this option to the operator of the press brake, so that he chooses the best option to make the piece.
– The only support on the market that does NOT need a key to be installed
It is the only support on the market that does NOT need Allen keys (or any type of tool), to be mounted. Everything goes with handles, the lower handle is the one that tightens the support to the die and the two upper handles are the ones that hold the protective film to the support and with this last movement it also makes the upper part of the support to be fixed to the lower one.
– Dark grey anodized
The SUPPORT-P/60 has been anodized in dark grey for two reasons; the first to leave an optimal finish. And the second to differentiate it from its “older brother” the SUPPORT-P/112 (which has been anodized in blue).
– For dies less than 60 m/m wide
The design of the SUPPORT-P/60 is made to be installed in dies of 60 m/m or less. It is ideal for dies type PROMECAM and for dies type WILA/TRUMPF/SPEED.
NEW SUPPORT-P/112, for protective film
The new SUPPORT-P/112 is an evolution of the SUPPORT-P/60 and its main difference is that it can be installed in dies of maximum 112 m/m wide, which was a question that many customers with multi-vee dies of large dimensions asked us.

The design of the SUPPORT-P/112 is made to be installed in dies of 112 m/m or less. It is ideal for large dies and above all it was a demand made by customers with large dimensions multi-vee dies.
The SUPPORT-P/112 is provided with a supplement (it can be seen in the second photo above), if it is not disassembled, the support can be installed in dies 60 m/m wide or less. If disassembled, it can be mounted on dies up to 112 m / m wide.
