Intermediate SPEED to Promecam is the new METALMAQ product and it is referred to as SPE 40.01. The truth is that it is not a new product, as it has been manufactured to order for many years, but now we have standardised it.
WHY DID WE STANDARDISE IT?
Intermediate SPE 40.01 with SPEED top anchoring (also known as Trumpf or Wila anchoring) and Promecam bottom anchoring has been manufactured for many years, but it had always been manufactured to order. Recently, and due to an increase in demand for the product, METALMAQ has decided to standardise it.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF STANDARDISATION?
Clearly, standardisation of intermediate SPE 40.01 has only advantages and these include the following:
– By increasing its production, its cost, and therefore its final price, are lowered.
– It can be found in our ONLINE SHOP as a standard product. Therefore, customers can see its features, photos, drawings, etc., and evaluate whether to purchase it.
– As it is standardised and, as usual in our company, it is manufactured and stored so that deliveries are very prompt if needed by our customers.
WHAT IS THE INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT FOR?
The Intermediate SPEED to Promecam, as mentioned, serves to change the SPEED type anchoring, also referred to as Trumpf or Wila anchoring (including with this type of anchoring, Trumpf, LVD, Bystronic, Axial, Loire and many other press brakes) to the PROMECAM system, which is one of the best known and most widely produced and used systems worldwide.
Sometimes buyers of this type of intermediate products are customers who have bought a new press brake with the Speed anchoring system, but who have many standard tools or even special tools with the Promecam system (because they had this type of press brake before) and still want to be able to use them. For them, this type of intermediate product is a very good option, as they can continue to use their old tools at a very low cost.

This intermediate product can be mounted with the following clamping:
ST-43 MANUAL CLAMP
The ST-43 manual clamp secures PROMECAM type punches manually using 2 Allen screws.
ST-50 FAST CLAMP
The ST-50 fast clamp secures PROMECAM type punches by means of an external handle. This makes it a very fast clamp in the operation of inserting and removing punches from the press brake.
ST-44 FAST CLAMP
The ST-44 fast clamp secures PROMECAM type punches by means of a handle that is fully integrated into its clamp. This makes it a very aesthetic and practical clamp for the operation of inserting and removing punches from the press brake.
