METALMAQ redesigns its cabinet OPEN, for metal sheet press brake tools and makes it grow in capacity and practicality.
SEVERAL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
After several years of experience with the press brake tool-holder cabinet OPEN , we saw that we could provide it with more capacity and our Technical Office started redesigning its interior.
The cabinet OPEN is designed for the tools (both punch and die) of the PROMECAM system or, as often said, of the EUROPEAN system (in Spain also known as Mebusa tools).
RESULT
The result is the following and here we detail the capacity of the cabinet OPEN;
– 6 Shelves adjustable in height and with a capacity per shelf for 11 sections of 835 m/m for both punch and die. With a maximum weight per shelf of 190Kg.
– 2 Drawers, with a capacity in each of them for 3 sections of 835 m/m for both punch and die. And for tools with a maximum height of 130 m/m.

These drawers are ideal to put the fractionated tools and to be able to access the small sections more comfortably.
This makes the cabinet OPEN with its measurements of 860 x 860 x 1.615 m/m, that is to say, in 1,2m3, it has a capacity of up to 74 tools, in the previous model there were 54 tools, (both punches and press brake dies) in sections of 835 m/m. Never in little more than 1m3 could so much press brake tooling be stored !!
The tool-holder cabinet OPEN is supplied in a beautiful and discreet anthracite gray color and the tool-holder guides are made of galvanized metal sheet.
Its weight (without tools) is 190Kg. It is prepared to be moved with a transpallet, both with the empty cabinet and with the cabinet full of tools, to be put it in the best location, improving the safety of the press brake operator and thus facilitating the maintenance and good conservation of the press brake tools.
