METALMAQ creates a MAGNETIC TEMPLATE for a press brake, and it has been widely accepted by its customers after its launch.
R&D WORK
It all started a little over a year ago, when we launched the Magnetic Squares PLUS, right and left. The market reacted very well and it took no time for orders to come in. Some customers, however, had problems with bending small parts with round sides or very complex shapes.
We found that, in order to solve this problem, many of our customers made a negative of the part on their cutting laser but had problems clamping it in the press brake die.
Based on that idea, we started to think about how we could solve the problem. We made a prototype for our customers to try, and they loved the idea. So then we started to think about how to produce it in a practical, aesthetic and economically attractive way.
We were inspired by the Magnetic Square PLUS, with its strong magnets, and the welding benches, which are supplied with holes so that users can place the tools they want on such bench.
THE ONLY MAGNETIC TEMPLATE ON THE MARKET
At present, it is the only MAGNETIC TEMPLATE for press brakes on the market worldwide, and it has the following characteristics, making it a great reference:
1.- INCORPORATION OF TWO STRONG MAGNETS
Two very strong neodymium magnets have been incorporated. Between the two of them, they have a clamping force of 33 kg, making the clamping of the MAGNETIC TEMPLATE extraordinary.
These magnets have already been used in our Magnetic Squares PLUS, right and left, with an optimal outcome.
2.- HIGH-QUALITY WORKING PLATE
The MAGNETIC TEMPLATE is manufactured with an 8 m/m plate in stainless steel and with a sandblasted finish. This combination imparts a high wear resistance and a very aesthetic finish.
The plate has dimensions of 120 x 120 m/m and comes with 12 M6 threaded holes.
3.- ROUNDED FINISHES
The plate has a rounded finish to avoid possible scratches during handling and to guarantee safety in use.
4.- ALLEN SCREWS INCLUDED
The MAGNETIC TEMPLATE is supplied with 4 M6 x 20 m/m Allen head screws to enable coupling the patterns or negatives made by the user.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion is that, with the new MAGNETIC TEMPLATE, parts that were very difficult to bend in the press brake are now possible with this ease of execution.
