¿How many times have we heard these problems with the metal sheet press brakes and their back-gauges? The commercial department of Metalmaq moved all the comments collected by users of metal sheet press brakes to our technical department and as a result of this, our famous and well-known Manual Back-Gauge RPS-500/2 for press brake arises, with more functions and improving its price.

From its beginnings, the manual back-gauge was designed for the press brake type MEBUSA. Its increasing demand and the fact that it is only necessary that the table of the folder have holes threaded at a distance of 200m/m, there were also designed, as an option, reducing sleeves to M12, to install in press brake with between-centers in the table of 200m/m and hole threaded to M12, as it is in most metal sheet press  brakes AJIAL. Consequently, the manual back-gauge RPS-500/2 can be installed on any metal sheet press brake on the market, both with downward and upward folding.

• Stroke of 500m/m, with manual movement by steering wheel and decimal/inch vernier. With laminated spindle of excellent quality, guided by two robust bars and provided with locknut in bronze to ensure its perfect operation and quality of movement.
• Two back-gauges for each arm (with a center in between them of 220m/m), which are foldable and adjustable in height. The advantage of having two back-gauges in each arm is that it allows us to mount a single arm in the folders of 2 meters or shorter and have two reference points in the same arm. For longer lengths we recommend the installation of two arms and thus be able to increase the reference points over the entire length of the pressbrake.
• Very resistant, a single arm weighs 35Kgs.
• Price reduction by more than 20%.
• For countries like USA, Canada, England, whose measure’s unit is the inch, there is the possibility to choose the counter in inches instead of millimeters.

Having two back-gauges on each arm it also gives us the possibility of installing a bar that the customer can manufacture himself and fit in the same arm (the back-gauges are supplied with threaded hole of M10 in its two back-gauges) or buy the aluminum bar of 750 m / m in length that Metalmaq sells as a KIT, with its screws and washers included.
