METALMAQ installs in a press brake of an important multinational of the central zone, an equipment of Pneumatic clamps to pass from the Promecam system to the Trumpf-Wila system, moving from a manual mooring to a fully automatic mooring .

Promecam mooring. Our client already has two Trumpf press brakes with automatic mooring and also has in its facilities a press brake with older Promecam mooring. Concerned about updating his equipments while homogenizing his spare parts he consulted us:

Superior mooring Promecam with bottom mooring Trumpf-Wila

Considering the needs of our client, our Technical Office designed a totally special mooring, with a superior Promecam mooring provided with a regulation wedge, to be able to regulate the compensation of the press brake and with bottom mooring type Trumpf-Wila. The system was designed to work pneumatically.

What improvements does the pneumatic system provide?

It improves the simplicity of installation
Improves the cost against the hydraulic system, reducing so the installation cost
No maintenance (only need to check the filter every 6 months and check that the operation is correct).

Metalmaq manufactures pneumatic clamps on request

The pneumatic flanges that Metalmaq has made on request have the possibility of introducing the punches frontally (using the “Safety Click” button that the punches with TRUMPF-WILA mooring are provided with or installing them laterally when they are not provided with this system and go with pins) and that they remain self-centered once the mooring is closed, operation that is carried out with a single button that closes the whole pneumatic installation, this allows to drastically reduce the dead times of machine’s preparation gaining agility in the preparation of the work to be done with the consequent saving
