WHY DO WE CONSIDER TO MAKE A FAST CLAMP FOR FRONTAL MOORING PROMECAM??
Due to the success of our Fast Clamp ST-50, with LATERAL extraction and introduction for the mooring of punches Promecam our clients wanted a solution to be able to introduce and remove Promecam punches FRONTALLY, especially to avoid having to open the lateral protections of the press brakes and move the safety laser, since in these two operations and in its return to start up it wastes a lot of time.
We have been detecting for some time as customers tell us that the changes are becoming more numerous, since the series are usually short and varied. Therefore, the number of punch change operations are being multiplied exponentially.
A DEEP WORK OF R&D
The challenge was great, but our Technical Office and our R&D spent almost two years researching, making several prototypes and finally a pre-series was made that was installed in a customer who changes punches about 20 times a day, the new Clamp ST-100 worked fine, but still had room for improvement.
We researched again and resolved the points we thought were weak and re-manufactured another pre-series. We installed the new Clamps ST-100 to two customers who also make many changes a day and the result was spectacular. Customers were amazed with them, but we had to let some time pass to see the wear and possible problems that might arise.
After 6 months of use and having analyzed the clamps in depth, we came to the conclusion that we should begin production, since no wear was seen.
THE PRODUCTION
The production has not been easy, since there are several pieces of the clamp treated and some also manufactured in Stainless Steel to guarantee its durability and its good operation over time.
We have to think that the piece is composed of 32 different elements !!, among pieces of steel, stainless steel, screws, springs, trims, etc. And its assembly is also a long and laborious process. Finally, each mounted clamp is checked in our test bench one by one, so that they meet all your expectations from day one.

Apart from the careful aesthetic, it has two main advantages: The first one that it can be bended with the punch mod. 10.12 up to 35º and if there is a collision, we can disassemble the safety button by simply unscrewing it.
The second is that if for some reason the handle bothers us, it can also be disassembled and the Clamp ST-100 continues squeezing the punch.
