METALMAQ updates its successful Electric Back Gauge PS-500/MOTOR.
THE EXIT TO THE MARKET
After a study and its further development (see NEWS June 2019), the Electric Back Gauge RPS-500/MOTOR was released in June 2019.
In this first batch we already saw a trend in the international sales and especially in countries such as the USA, Canada and England, this made several clients ask us if they had the option of viewing the measurements in inches.Unfortunately, the UNITRONICS display that we used did not allow us to give this option and the measurements could only be displayed in millimeters.
THE CHALLENGES
With the consultation of several clients to be able to visualize the measurements in inches, our technicians together with the UNITRONICS technicians began to investigate and do tests to see if this new measurement visualization was feasible, working and finding an adequate solution to our “problem”.
THE RESULT
In the end, the joint work bear fruit and we were able to give the option in the new series that we have finished manufacturing and to be able to view the measurements in millimeters or inches.
Of course, this must be configured in METALMAQ with the desired option. So when the customer receives it, he only has to mount it on his press brake, adjust manually the gauges to fine-tune the measurement and he can start working.
If we combine this new functionality with the old ones for which the gauge was designed, we come to the conclusion that there is NO such electric back gauge on the market. Let us remember the advantages that have made the BACK GAUGE RPS-500/MOTOR a leader in its market;
