METALMAQ tools in Barceló. ARQUITECTURA METÁLICA BARCELÓ is a company specialised in the design, calculation, production and installation of structures, façades, architectural enclosures, adopting solutions to architectural and engineering projects designed with materials such as steel, aluminium, glass, ceramics, resins, etc.
The origins of the company were in a small ironworks founded in 1928 by Mr Francisco Barceló Baeza and then taken over by his son Mr Antonio Barceló Fructuoso in 1958, and now it is run by his children, the third generation. They have facilities measuring 40,000 m2 located in Alberca (Murcia-Spain).
The company has two press brakes and is a loyal customer of our tools and accessories, always incorporating our latest innovations in their installations to improve their production process.

We are very interested in knowing the opinion of our customers and that is why today we are going to interview the CEO of “Arquitectura Metálica Barceló”, Mr Víctor Barceló.
What is your relationship with METALMAQ?
They are our regular supplier of punches, dies and accessories for our press brakes.
How do you rate their products?
Excellent quality, price and fast delivery on all standard tools and accessories.
How do you rate their service, both in terms of treatment and delivery?
Fast delivery and excellent service.
What was your last purchase from Metalmaq?
We ordered a special punch with a window for making short U-shaped parts with very long wings. Before we had to weld one of the parts, but now with the new punch we can do it all in one piece, thus saving time and eliminating a production process.
Which Metalmaq product do you like the most or what has surprised you?
I couldn’t tell you one in particular, as they are always innovating solutions to help in the sheet metal bending process. And every year they come up with new solutions that we typically incorporate in the company.
Would you recommend Metalmaq to your friends and collaborators?
Yes, without a doubt.
What can Metalmaq do better to address your needs? Or what do you miss in the bending process?
They have an excellent team and every challenge I have given them has been solved.
